How the loan is structured
You can draw the loan as a lump sum or in tranches that match your project's payment milestones. We work with your contractor or project manager to release funds in line with the build timeline — useful for larger renovations where staged drawdown reduces interest exposure.
The repayment term is flexible from 1 to 20 years. For smaller home improvements, a shorter term (3–7 years) is typical. For full renovations or extensions, we often see 10–15 year terms that keep monthly repayments manageable.
Sustainability-led projects automatically receive priority review and a 48-hour decision turnaround. We will ask for evidence of the green elements (specifications, contractor quotes, EPC projections) but the underwriting standard is the same — only the speed differs.
